A married city worker carried a drunk woman over his shoulder after she was thrown out of a club and raped her in alleyway, a court heard yesterday.
PriceWaterhouseCooper consultant Sanjay Naker, 28, forced her to perform sex acts before raping her in the alleyway away from the busy street, Inner London Crown Court heard.
He approached the woman after she was thrown out of Number 1 club in London Bridge for being too intoxicated, and then went back home to his wife after the alleged attack on March 11 last year.
He was seen by a passerby at 4:45am, standing over the alleged victim and zipping up his trousers, as she lay unconscious, half naked, covered in urine and vomit.
After being questioned by police, Naker said that the woman was ‘really horny’ and begged him for sex.
Jurors heard how the last thing she remembered was standing in the smoking area with her cousin at the club and they staring at a brick wall in the alley.
Naker told police the sex was consensual and said the woman had not appeared drunk.
He admitted later searching online for a definition of the word ‘rape’ but said it reassured him he had done nothing wrong.
Naker, of Wood Green, north London, denies one count of attempted rape, one charge of assault by penetration, and a count of sexual assault.
The trial continues.
